Glen Fields, 44
Glen Fields, 44, Totz, KY, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010 at his home.
He was a native of Cincinnati but had lived in the Tri-City area most of his life. He was a coal miner employed by Yellow Rose Coal Co. and Jerrico Coal Co. for 25 years, served in the Navy for three and a half years and he believed in the Pentecostal faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents Hershel and Constance Fields and two brothers, Hershel Jr. and Andy Fields.
He is survived by his wife, Freida Fields, one son, Glen Travis Fields, of Cawood, two sisters; Alma Dixon (Jerry) of Tuscaloosa Alabama and Loretta Taylor (Jeff) of Totz, Ky., three grand-children, T.J., Tabitha and Tiffani of Cawood and several uncles, aunts, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2010 from six till nine at the Chapel of Tri City Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 15, 2010 at twelve o’clock at the Funeral Home with Reverend John Dixon officiating. Pallbearers will be Willie Board, A.J. Board, Jeff Taylor, Donnie Pitman, Hershel Taylor, Jessie Hatfield, Jerry Dixon and Tony Callahan. Interment will be at Monte Vista Cemetery in Cumberland.
Tri City Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
