OBITUARY


Agnes Duff, 89

 Mildred Agnes Duff, 89, Cumberland, widow of her beloved Lloyd Duff, passed from this life on Friday July 2, 2010 in Lexington, KY.

Agnes was a native of Keokee, VA, a graduate of Benham High School, and a faithful member of the Cumberland Pentecostal Church. Agnes touched many lives through her prayer and deeds and was always sharing the love of Jesus with whomever she met. Agnes was an encouraging lady with a gentle heart and a sweet smile and will truly be missed.

In addition to her husband Lloyd, she was preceded in death her parents, Edmond and Ada Smith; one sister, Maxie Morris; and eight brothers, Miles, Elsmere, Russell, Ray, Benton, Matthew, Alfred, and Waynard.

She is survived by two children, Troy Duff Jr., Cumberland; and Raney Decker, Lexington; four grandchildren, Bruce Duff, Michael Duff, Brandon Decker and Sarah Sellards; two great-grandchildren, Noah Sellards and Kaleb Duff (and one on the way); and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 5, 2010 at the Cumberland Pentecostal Church from 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 11 am at the church with the Rev. Michael and Barbara Blair and Rev. Ernest Brock officiating.

Following the funeral service, interment will be in the Resthaven Cemetery, at Keith, KY.

Bruce Duff, Michael Duff, Brandon Decker, Scott Fuller, Joe Scopa, and Jody Gluck will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Morris, Jay Gluck, and James Cress.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cumberland Pentecostal Church.

Tri City Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
