Gary Gibson, 69
Gary Don Gibson, 69, Cumberland, passed away June 24, 2010 at his home.
He was a native of Jenks, OK and had made the Tri-City area his home for the past 21 years.
Mr. Gibson held a Ph.D. and was a Professor at SKCTC for the past 21 years and believed in the Methodist faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents Lynn and Freda Dale Gibson.
He is survived by his wife Karin Gibson; children Jacquelyn Dawn Gibson, Jenks, OK; Dwayne Alan Gibson, Beverly, KY; and Stephanie Ann Gibson, Nicholasville, KY; one brother, Dale Lynn Gibson; seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Patrick Lane, Savannah and Dwayne Alexander Gibson; Ashley and Bryan Thomas Eronn and Cody Dayton Risner.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 27, 2010 from 5-8pm at the chapel of Tri City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 28, 2010 at 1pm at the funeral home with Rev. Richard Wilcox officiating.
Interment will be in Monte Vista Cemetery, Cumberland. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
