OBITUARY
Bill Cooley, 59
Bill Gene Cooley, 59, Benham, passed away Thursday May 20, 2010, after an extended illness.
He was a former police chief for the City of Cumberland and most recently had been employed by Gainey Transportation for 22 years. He attended Cumberland Church of the Nazerene.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents Darrell Cooley and Jean Davidson Cooley.
He is survived by one sister, Lorraine Bannister, Erie, PA; and a cousin, Jeffrey Davis, Hartselle AL; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sat. May 22, 2010 at the Chapel of Tri-City Funeral Home from 5 to 8 pm and the funeral will be Sunday May 23, 2010 at 2pm at the funeral home with Dillard Stanley officiating.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Tri-City Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
