Linda Foster, 61

 Linda Sue Barker Foster, 61, Totz, a member of Mountain View Church of Christ, departed this life on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at her home following an extended illness.

Linda was a native of Cumberland and lived in Harlan County all of her life. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and homemaker. She was self employed.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Barker and Glen Barker.

Survivors include her husband, William “Johnny” Foster, Totz; two sons, William Kenneth Foster, Jeffersonville, IN and Stephen Matthew Foster, Totz; five grandchildren, Hailey, Hannah, Tyler, Emily and Sarah; parents, Kenneth and Loretta Bowling Barker, Cumberland; five sisters, Claudette Craiger and husband, Jack, Partridge; Joyce Polson and husband, Lloyd, Totz; Marsha Smith and husband, Kenny, Dione; Charlotte Smith, Cumberland, Judy Simpson and husband, Steve, Cumberland; a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held 6-9pm Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Tri City Funeral Home in Benham.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Friday, January 29, 2010 in the Chapel of Tri City Funeral Home with John Knott officiating. Interment will follow in Monte Vista Cemetery in Cumberland.

Kyle Simpson, Cody Simpson, Anthony Smith, Greg Gilliam, Walter Brown, and Michael Paul Barker will serve as pallbearers.

Tri City Funeral Home in Benham has been entrusted with the arrangements.
