Hello everyone,
My name is Johnnie female of course, graduated from Cumberland High School in 1972. Left Cumberland in 1974, moved to Ohio and lived here ever since. As far as I know the Class of 1972 only had one class reunion, everyone this is long over due. I don't know if anyone would like to see me or not but I would love to see my former classmates again and the people I grew up with.You know we are not getting any younger and we have lost some former classmates, which I myself would have loved to have seen one more time....So why don't our class officers get in touch with one another and plan someting, if not this year maybe next year,that way everyone would have enough time to plan ahead for this great get together.
Saw Pauline Smith last year, was great seeing her again..Would also love to see Ruby MCkinney again Linda Maggard, Randy Jarvis, Bernard Nolan, John Vanover, Terry Wilson, The kyle cousins, I could keep going and going, in other words I would love to see people we knew before we left Cumberland also........ Hey Johnnie Mae...Jean King just to name a few.......... Also i would love to come back home where I was born and raised, Like my sister said when we left, we left with a lot of happy memories, but yet there were sad memories also, but I can truly say that I have never been ashamed of my upbringing, the fact that I was born and raised in CUMBERLAND, KENTUCKY... A great place that I still LOVE to call HOME... So if anyone out there knows where our class 0f 1972 officers would be located could you please pass this along to them and maybe next year we could maybe have our 2nd reunion after 36 years... I know I would love to see everyone and catch up on old times...... Till then God Bless You All!

Hey Johnnie,
I saw your post and just had to say HI. I too am Class of 72. I ididn't make it to the last reunion, but would love to know what all our former classmates are up to now. We moved to South Carolina about 10 years ago and have lost touch with most of the folks in the Tri-City area. When we do get up that way it's only for a couple of days. I hope this forum catches on, maybe we could meet here to catch up. I'm not sure who our class officers were, much less where they might be. If we do get a reunion together, I'd like to try to attend.
Keep posting maybe we'll get some other people to notice.

It was so good to hear from someone who also graduated from Cumberland High School class of 1972, I remember you well,I don't know if you can remember me or not.... But same ole me, only older now didn't let life change my personality that much, still same ole crazy me.I often wonder about our classmates as to where they may be now and how life has treated them over the years.I am in Ohio, been here since 1974 and have only made it back home about 2 or 3 times since leaving kentucky....Like I said before I would love to see our former classmates.and see just how well life has treated them over the years.. Like I said also we aren't getting any younger so if you would happen to come across any info please pass it along over this post..... Hopefully we could get something going and if not this year 2008 maybe next year 2009 some of us could get together and talk about old times at C.H.S.

Maybe one of you guys could set up a reunion! All it takes is some announcing, planning, locations, etc. It would be a good project that could lead to some of those familiar faces :)

I think that the tcnky.com should create a reunion of sort message board subject with seperate dates of graduation. Or a complete board that contained the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s. 90s, 00s, etc. People could pass along anything of
interest to others in their class, reunion information, etc. Make it simple at first but if interest is shown, build it to cover every year, and more complex.
